In this short film ‘The Dark’ appears as the protagonist of Narcissus, who is unable to love The Light. These two figures both live in parallel worlds without the possibility of coexistence.
Despite The Light’s attempts to re-connect, they are held in contempt by The Dark, who doesn’t understand that their need for solitude is the true cause of The Light’s invincible pain. This suffering is cathartic to their metaphysical discomfort and existence, where they attempt to understand and balance their power within their physical worlds.
